First Day Of School
Ah, first day of school and I am already so tired out. Mentally exhausting!
Today, we had lab for Medicinal Chemistry. Although it's at a computer lab, I can't help but feel the stress. I am supposed to know chirality at the tip of my fingers! And now I can't even assign priority to functional groups when they become complicated. Seoh Thin finished everything in 3 hours, while I had 3 structures left undone. Why, Christy? Why are you so slow?
Anyway I was so stressed out I didn't feel like having lunch. And maybe because it was due to the long queues! I don't feel like queueing up for lunch after 3 months. I had sandwich and a packet of Vitasoy.
Dosage form design was horrifying 'cos Cheong Hian is taking us through self-directed learning again. SDL! AGAIN! CHEONG HIAN! I should have know when I saw his name... Anyway, now we are supposed to form groups of 9 people and guess what? One-third of the syllabus is self-study. Can you believe it? I might as well self-study the whole module...
Lecture ended early and Sok Hiang and I went back to lab to finish our morphine molecule. Thanks to Seoh Thin, I managed to successfully complete my morphine! But Sok Hiang already finished her Arteminisin, which I haven't, and there is still Maytansine! I'll have to go back to lab tomorrow with Zhong Yi to finish it up. I think I might just become a regular of the Math computer lab.
I took a different route back home today. I am starting to hate the route to buona vista station, and taking 197 or 97 to Jurong East sounds good to me. Maybe I'll go home using the new route from today onwards. Haha. Unless 95 comes when I arrive at the bus stop.
Time to print out notes! SO tiring. I even have heart palpitations at the thought of school...
