Feeling Uncomfortable
School life is indeed not easy for me.
Not to mention tons of notes to print, my sleeping habits are horrible. There are times when I look at the clock, which says it's 12.30 am, and I feel like sleeping. But there is always something for me to do, such that I end up sleeping at 2.30 am instead. Because lectures start at 8 am, I have to wake up at 5.30 am and leave my house at 6.30 am. That means I have only 3 hours of sleep per day.
I really hate myself. When I don't have enough sleep, I will feel so tired that I lose my temper at my sister. And when I think back, what has she done to deserve all these? Especially today... How she was concerned about me about to faint. I am such a terrible sister.
Anyway, I reach home at 5 plus if lectures end at 4 pm, and 7 plus if lectures end at 6 pm. I will have my dinner at 7 plus, then sleep immediately after dinner! I wake up at 10 pm and bathe for an hour, then print out notes at 1 am. I seriously feel drained.
The same routine continued today. I slept at 3 am, woke up at 5.30 am... But today was bad because I woke up with a huge tummy ache. It was so painful I almost wanted to skip Pharmacology. I didn't even have breakfast for fear of worsening the pain. The queasy feeling continued till lunch. I didn't feel like buying anything, but Seoh Thin advised me to have something. I had Yong Tau Foo (the first time in 2 years in Science canteen), and it tasted quite good actually. But I didn't have any noodles to go with it.
I slept in the LT while waiting for Pathology to start. Initially I couldn't sleep, but when I did fall asleep, I felt like continuing. Haha. Of course I couldn't. The Patho lecturer was bad because he spoke so fast, I will have to listen to my recording again. Man. So many things to do already.
Anyway, I went to MPSH 1 to change my EZ-link card. I felt like taking 97/197 again, so even though 95 came right in front of me, I decided to walk from MPSH 1 all the way to the 97/197 bus stop. Yeah, it was a LONG walk... I thought I could sleep on the bus, but the engine under my feet was so hot it was intolerable.
I finally reached Jurong East MRT and especially waited for the next train so I could take a nap on the train. I was feeling faint, maybe because I didn't have any carbohydrates for the entire day. But it didn't help much because the sun was shining on my back throughout the ride. I never felt this weak and irritated. I got off at Admiralty to buy some bread, and feeling hypoglycaemic, I knew I had to get some sugary drinks. 7-11 sold a bottle of Pepsi at $2 while Shop N Save sold it at $1.30. Of course I wouldn't buy from 7-11.
I waited for my bus and hecking the rules, I started drinking Pepsi on the bus. I felt more refreshed (glucose really works wonders) although my stomach began acting up due to the gas. When I reached home, I told my mum I was going to sleep. And I did, from 5.30 pm all the way till 7 pm. But I had some difficulty falling asleep... It's always like that when I am over-exhausted.
I had dinner once I woke up, under my mum's insistence. I ate like half of my usual dinner portion and felt sleepy again. I went back to my room and slept without any air-con or fan and covered myself from top to toe with my blanket. I felt really sick. And paracetamol works wonders too. I felt better after taking some after dinner. I'm gonna have some more later before I sleep.
This time round, I woke up at 10.20 pm. Didn't feel like bathing but I had to... It was a long day! I felt sleepy again and my dad told me to go sleep and my mum was like, "she slept the WHOLE day!" But I didn't, 'cos I have to print out Dosage Form Design notes and blog!
I'm so gonna sleep soon. Today's really horrible. I am lucky there is no lab tomorrow, and I can start school at 2 pm. Otherwise I can just die.
