But do remember to say thanks!
Nothing (aka, no links) here is finalised yet! I'm still trying them out.
Here is the place where I'll store my dramas. Till the time I buy my external hard disk. First drama up, is "The Winter Melon Story", a Hong Kong drama.
Links for each episode are provided, and currently they are being uploaded to Megaupload. For instructions on how to download from Megaupload, refer to
"faq".
Anything you want to display here. Banners, buttons...? Etc.
I've started writing, so why don't you start reading?

Memoirs of a Geisha
Nope, nope, this is not a book review.
Recently, this book has been acted out into a movie using Chinese and Japanese actors. However, when this movie was released, it created great fury among the people in Japan and China.
Why?
That's because the writer was unpleased that her book has been acted out as if it was a life of a prostitute. As in, the geisha was as if she's a whore.
Well, I don't mind the Japanese protesting if such a thing really happened, and that the writer has the right to be angry. However, things seem to be much more complicated.
The Japanese think that their culture (or something like that) has been wrongly depicted. Erm, maybe, I think.
Let me tell you soemthing about geishas. They are girls who entertain people drinking, like those bar girls entertaining those "clients". Their main job is just to entertain. They don't sell their body for money. They can, if they want to. However, they are not obliged to. But they mostly just drink and sing and etc etc etc with those perverts. They are very "cultured", in the sense that they learn etiquette, flower arrangements, how to serve tea and those "rituals" and how to dance, how to sing, and more.
And the Japanese are angry that Hollywood used a Chinese actress to act out the role of the geisha. I don't think that there is anything wrong. Why can't they use someone of a different origin? It's like, what's wrong???
Then the Chinese is angry that the actress took out the role. I mean, what's wrong here again? Who the hell set the mindset that Japanese roles should only be acted out by some Japanese??? And that Chinese cannot act out Japanese roles?
There is a scene where the geisha laid on top of the Japanese guy fully naked. The Chinese is damn angry, because they think that the Chinese actress represents not only herself, but the whole of China. So, to the Chinese, the scene represents that Japan is sort of violating China's "holy body".
WTF???
What the hell has that scene got to do with the China's body???? Why is it that one Chinese actress can get to represent the whole of China? How the hell did they interpret the scene as Japan violating China??? *Speechless*
If that's the case, doesn't it mean that those China citizens who desperately want to get out of China by getting married to foreigners too represent China?
And if that's the case, don't the China wives need to copulate with their husbands? And if that;s the case, how many *ucking times have the China body been violated????
Conclusion: These Japanese and Chinese are ridiculous. Everything's rubbish!
