But do remember to say thanks!
Nothing (aka, no links) here is finalised yet! I'm still trying them out.
Here is the place where I'll store my dramas. Till the time I buy my external hard disk. First drama up, is "The Winter Melon Story", a Hong Kong drama.
Links for each episode are provided, and currently they are being uploaded to Megaupload. For instructions on how to download from Megaupload, refer to
"faq".
Anything you want to display here. Banners, buttons...? Etc.
I've started writing, so why don't you start reading?

Engineering Fiesta Day 3
The bridge yesterday was made of wood. It looked damn strong. Thomas, Wei Jie, Kenneth Lim, Kai Yuan, Jie Sheng, Meiting, Kenneth Pan, May Yi, Kelvin and I got it wrong because we all guesed it to be able to hold 40++ kg. We were terribly wrong.
Today is the last day.
Of course both teams from IJC didn't get into the final round. Only Raffles, Anglo-Chinese, Temasek and Jurong got in.
And Jurong was out to win. It was a speed round where only the team with the fastest correct answer would get one point. There were 12 questions altogether.
However, RJC wouldn't be called RJC if RJC didn't get first prize. They got $1000 cash, trophy and certificates. Then ACJC came in second and JJC came in third. They got $500 and $250 respectively.
Then we got certificates.
Anyway, we long knew that we wouldn't get in, so we gave permission to Meiting to leave for Miss Fong's wedding. So she never came at all. When we heard that we couldn't get in, we started planning to go for the Newater plant visit. Lol. We are damn bad.
Then we went for the bridge contest. We got it wrong again. It held only, like, 23 kg. I wrote 26! Argh! It was because I took the average of the results of the previous results. Kai Yuan was like, "going by the AP rule, it shout be able to hold around 37 kg." LOL.
Some RJ guy got the first prize. Tsk.
Then we went up on stage to get our certificates. Haha. We got another goodie bag from Singapore Institute of Management, SIM. It contained a paper bookmark, 5 metal bookmarks, a paper weight shaped like a handphone holder and a block of... something. I never figured out what it was, or what it had meant to be.
We were treated to a buffet but I was too full from the $4.50 iced cappucino from Han's.
And May Yi and I were laughing non-stop as we waited for the thing to start. That's because we saw an uncle dressed in beach clothes and arranging the tables and chairs for a couple, served them food, passed them tissue paper and said to them, "Enjoy!" He didn't look like a waiter, he had another table to himself, and his own food.
Then he comes walking to the couple to chat with them. He didn't dress like the other waiters. So who is he? We thought that he might be a friend of the couple, but the couple were in their twenties while he was in his forties. And which friend of yours would serve you lunch and say, "Enjoy!" after passing tissue papers to you? Not me.
Then we shifted our attention to another guy. He was dressed quite formally, in a long sleeved shirt and long pants. He was pouring some leftovers into a bin.
Me: "Is he a waiter?"
May Yi: "Can't be. Maybe he's clearing his own dishes since this is a self-service eatery."
Me: "But I see him holding a rag..."
And he cleaned and pushed the chairs and tables!! Ok, he's a waiter.
What about the beach uncle? I never knew.
Then we went home... telling each other lame jokes and asking some IQ questions. Lol. Another fun day.
