Download all you want!
But do remember to say thanks!
Nothing (aka, no links) here is finalised yet! I'm still trying them out.
Here is the place where I'll store my dramas. Till the time I buy my external hard disk. First drama up, is "The Winter Melon Story", a Hong Kong drama.
Links for each episode are provided, and currently they are being uploaded to Megaupload. For instructions on how to download from Megaupload, refer to
"faq".
Anything you want to display here. Banners, buttons...? Etc.
I've started writing, so why don't you start reading?

Melting Men
A thousand miniature people have slowly melted away in a Berlin square in an effort to draw attention to melting ice caps in Greenland and Antarctica. Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo carved the figures out of ice and placed them on steps in the central Gendarmenmarkt square where they begin to melt within about half an hour. Temperatures in Berlin were about 23 degres Celsius on Wednesday.
This artpiece on 2nd September was meant to spotlight the World Wildlife Fund's warning that melting ice could possibly cause levels to rise more than 3.3 feet by 2100.
What was interesting was that Azevedo is not a climate activist, but just an artist. She has been setting up Melting Men in various countries around the world since 2005, originally intended to criticise the role of monuments in cities. Unexpectedly, environmentalists around the world adopted her work as climate change art.
I saw the news report on TV and was very mesmerised by the beauty of the artpiece. I googled for some pictures and here they are:
Beautiful right? I think because of Food and Health module, I've started to appreciate art a little more. =P
