Lee Seung Gi!
I am at a loss.
My favorite singer, Lee Seung Gi, just released his fourth album on the 17th of September. I should support him because he's the first singer I've like so much. But I haven't got the money to buy another album within such a short time! (I just spent $72 on DBSK, remember? Anyway, the middleman sent an e-mail saying that it would arrive around 2 weeks later... So that means it'll just come in time as my own birthday gift!)
Ok, this post's focus shall be on my Seung Gi.
Yeah, I've been waiting ever since my fascination into him for his new album, and my wish came true. I haven't exactly listened to all the songs, but after listening to "Let's Break Up" (his main song for this album) and reading some comments, I do have to say that, yes, he's moving to other genres like mainstream pop for "Let's Break Up" and some other more cheerful pieces like "I Want You", but I am a little disappointed. I love his sunny and serious personality, but I just realised that I love his ballads more.
Some people say that "Shadow" (the name of his latest album) lacks a ballad. Yes, I definitely agree. I miss his ballads. But good effort anyway, to change his style. I'm not saying that "Let's Break Up" is not good, it's been inside my head ever since, but I would love to enjoy another ballad from him. That said, I wanna watch the MV for "Let's Break Up". He looks different, drifting away from seriousness and to someone who's weathered through love. At this thought, I feel sad, but I can't always let him stay at where he is, right? He's got to improve. I guess it'll be soon that I accept this new change.
Anyway, I've edited my playlist for the music player. Sorry to Dong Bang Shin Ki, but I'm moving "Let's Break Up" to first position! Yeah, after complaining so much, I still love his song, don't I? Do enjoy "Let's Break Up"! I wish him all the best in album sales (though I really want to contribute somehow)! Lyrics will come later.
