Trojan Horse
Do you guys know why wasn't I updating my blog and online for the past few days?
It's because my computer was infected with a Trojan Horse.
Yeah, the most malicious virus to ever infect my computer. It sucks.
I was downloading something... Then Norton Anti-virus popped out a window saying that it dectected a Trojan Horse and yet couldn't repair the file. \
I was shocked. Damn shocked. Totally shocked. There was this numbness which spread throughout my body from within my spine. All I could do was to only blink and stare at the window.
And all I wanted to do was to shut down my computer. I just couldn't analyse anything.
I went to start and clicked "Shut Down". A lot of windows popped out, asking me if I wanted to terminate my downloads and that some programs couldn't be initiated due to blah blah blah... All I knew was to click the CROSS sign on those windows.
Finally everything shut down. The computer was off. I switched off the power cords and then played my TV games. That was because I wanted to escape from reality.
Then I realised that problems couldn't be solved just like that. I SMS-ed everyone close to me, in the hope that I could get some comforting words or something, and flooded Zhao Han's handphone with my SMS-es. I was damn worried that the TH would just erase everything from my computer.
Everything was almost a blank in my mind. Would TH work when I'm offline? Would it erase my data? Would it destroy my hard disk? Would I be able to re-use my hard disk? I just upgraded my computer... Nothing like that should happen.
It was a freaking two a.m. in the morning.
I couldn't fall asleep. I was so freaked out, that I wished all the bad things would happen to me, except for this, in exchange for my hard disk to be re-usable.
I cannot let Dad know that my hard disk could be damaged. I would be slaughtered.
Mum would screw me.
Finally Zhao Han replied me at around 10 a.m. the next day, after the infection. He said that it would be best that I reformat my hard disk if I wanted to rid it.
And I did that. I needed to reinstall everything on my computer, besides saving the important files that I needed. I was lucky that I had a CD Burner.
So I installed everything... And I found out that I lost my Singnet Installation CD!!! And the instruction booklet for setting up my modem on my computer!!!
I was so frantic, I searched every area in my house for at least three times, I took out everything, looked through everything and then put them back again.
I still couldn't find it. I was at a loss.
After 2 days of struggling, I finally set up my Internet Connection.
Argh, stupid Trojan Horse. I shall screw you.
