My Birthday
Today is my birthday. Haha.
Erm, it wasn't exactly exciting for it to come this year, because I had a Biology Mock Revision Test today. Well, I didn't exactly study for it, but I didn't have a proper sleep, at least.
I was damn tired the night before. I just couldn't concentrate on studying my Respiration notes. It was a damn stuffy night too. I decided to switch on my air-con to study. Not long after, I fell asleep.
Then, at around 3 plus a.m., I heard my handphone vibrate. It was a message from Mary. LOL. I didn't waste my time loving her, man. She wished me a happy birthday. It was sent at 11.59 p.m.
Then, a minute later, I recieved a similar message from Kenneth. It was sent at 12.01 a.m..
No, Mary wasn't the first person to wish me a Happy Birthday. Alicia was the first. She wished me that on 3rd October, at around 4 plus p.m..
Then, it was around 4 plus a.m.. Zhao Han wished me a Happy Birthday.
Oh man, people. I was so, so, so touched that I couldn't concentrate on my Biology notes. There was this warm feeling that spread from my spine to the rest of my body. Serious. I've never received so many wishes at such an early time.
No, don't misunderstand me. I don't mind at all. Not even a tweeny weeny bit. I just wanna say, Thanks guys. You all made my day!
Then I received a message from Christiana at around 7.36 a.m.. She wished me a Happy Birthday and success for my Promos. She said she couldn't pass me my present as she was having her Promos. I don't mind, Christiana. I couldn't pass yours to you as well. Well, after my exam ends, I guess.
Then I messaged Lynette to wish her Happy Birthday because hers falls on the same day as mine did. She replied me.
When I reached IJC I stepped into the LT as usual. Kenneth saw me at once and wished me Happy Birthday again. Oh man, it was so sweet and nice of him.
Then Serene and Watson started singing and wishing me a Happy Birthday... Haha... I was so embarrassed. Because almost everyone in the LT turned into my direction. Luckily it wasn't packed yet.
Jasmine Lee and Jesmine Cai sang me birthday songs repeatedly. Especially Jesmine Cai. Oh, my Lao Po... (Wife)
Then Esther wished me as well. Thanks, Esther.
Grace Chua, Grace Wong and John wished me as well. And Mary's friend (I'm sorry I forgot her name) wished me as well.
But a good birthday present from Mr. Azahar was that I was selected for a selection test for the Biology Olympiad.
Which means I gotta flip through my Campbell and Reece reference book later on.
And I had my ice-cream birthday cake 2 weeks ago. I was celebrating my Lunar Birthday.
Ah.... Today's a nice day. =)
P.S. Mr. Eng SMS-ed me during lunch. He wanted to meet me for 5 minutes after lunch. I thought he was gonna give me my birthday present or something. Nah. He just wanted me to pass a message to the whole class regarding the submission of the EoM tomorrow. What a let-down. =(
