Today I had a long morning assembly at IJC.
Miss Yeo, the principal, read out an email by a member of the public... Who wanted to commend 6 students for helping a blind man.
It started out like this: "It was at Causeway Point, Burger King... I was with my husband, at around 10 p.m.... I saw 6 of your students helping a blind man to the gents, to even wait for him to come out, before helping him to the bus interchange..."
Then Miss Yeo said, "Can the 6 helpful souls, who were at Causeway Point, Burger King at 10 p.m. please stand out?"
All of us laughed like hell. Who the hell would stand out and admit that they were Causeway Point at 10 p.m.?
So, nextr time, dearest members of the public, never ever specify the time you saw something happen.. like in this case. You are not helping them gain credits you know... You actually do them in.
So, my friends, be brilliant and intelligent, ok?
