Random Ramblings of a Free Worker

Yay… I’m free to do my own free stuff now. But the problem is, I really feel insecure about my current situation. Like, should I start packing goodie bags or should I surf the net and appear as if I had something to do?

I wish my pay will come soon. I need money! My spectacles have not been changed for 2 to 3 years already and I have not been to the optometrist for a myopia checkup for over a year? I wish I can get new spectacles that will look nice on me… Wonder how much would that cost.

And I need money for buying more formal clothing! I also need to give my mum a part of my salary… She has been spending so much on me and my dad just bought a new TV over $2000 and my mum is more stressed up right now.

I wish I had time to blog, but whenever I reach home, I will be so tired that I don’t feel like blogging. And yet I want to share about my life, and keep a record of it so I wouldn’t forget in the future… It felt really nostalgic when I read my old posts… And I think I forgot to celebrate my blog’s 3rd birthday this year!

Father’s Day is coming soon and my sister’s birthday is coming soon. I need more money and I want to buy health supplements for my mum. It’s super expensive! Like, $67-odd for 30 capsules. Meaning that you have to spend that amount of money monthly! I wouldn’t mind spending on my parents. Just that currently I am not financially independent yet (that would take more than 3 years from now) and I strongly believe that such health supplements should be taken when one is young, not wait till one is like, 60 or 70? Wouldn’t that be too late?

Whoa. Just a couple of minutes and I have already blogged several paragraphs. But they are not related! I’m just skipping from one issue to another. Since when did I start becoming so disorganized and incoherent?

I was flipping through a magazine when there was a report on gift ideas for Father’s Day. Because I was flipping the magazine in reversed order, i.e. from the last page to the first page, the last page of the three-page report was for budget above $200. As I flipped more, the categories were $150-200 and above $100. I was like, OMG!!!! Even if I am working now, I can’t spend that much! It’s equivalent to one month of my travel concession!

Sigh. What shall I buy? I was never good at such stuff. And there’s one hour to my lunch time… Hmm. What shall I do now?
