LOL. I saw the news report on television and then the reports on the Internet.
Jack Cafferty and CNN are in deep trouble for sure, but I have to say that Jack Cafferty is sure bold to say that goon and thug line on TV.
If you think of it, what if it wasn't Jack Cafferty who made that comment? What if it was just some guy saying it and a Chinese national happened to overhear it? Would the Chinese government still have such a huge reaction?
Why demand apologies? Why should Chinese nationals all over the world protest?
If you think of it as America allows free speech and free thinking and Jack Cafferty is only voicing what he feels and that what he says is not representative of CNN's stands, and because CNN couldn't cut that part out in time, it would have remained as just an ordinary guy on the streets giving a comment.
Please stop asking people to keep apologising to you okay? It's the same thing when you wanted Japan to apologise for WW2 - Why not ask Germany to apologise too since Hilter was from Germany and he colluded with Japan? And when the world demands an explanation from you on the huge amount of money you spent on military, you refuse to answer. And what about when you didn't feel apologetic that some company in your country is producing products detrimental to the public health? What is this?
If you want people to apologise to you, you must first show that you are apologetic for your errors before the others will do the same for theirs. So shut up for now.
