Paris Hilton and Her Jail "Adventure"

For one thing, I've always supported the idea that she should serve jail, so as to be treated as equally as civilians.

I don't know if 45 days is considered as a long period, but for one thing, she does know how to create news wherever she goes. Maybe she didn't do it purposely (we would never know), but it DOES get way too sickening to hear about her and her adventure every so now often.

Firstly, some people were very against her being charged. A lot of things happened. Then, when she got jailed the first time, she got released like 3 days after? I was damn shocked. Like, this is impossible! She got out???

If I were the judge I would have done the same thing to her. Ordering her back was like so cool. And SO RIGHT. The value of the judicial system would be non-existent if she was allowed to serve sentence from home with no specific reason.

And I just found out that on the day of the hearing, there was another saga. Like, what's going on? How can someone request to go through a hearing from over the phone? Especially when she is the one being charged. I've so far only hear that kid witnesses were allowed to give testimonials over some video because they were nervous. But this is like, so ridiculous!

And she got chauffeured back to court in some limo??? Oh man. Just how much news can one stir?

And when she got out, the media placed so much focus on her that I seriously feel that it's a waste of resources. They say she looked shy. If that was the case, why did she wave? And why weren't the car windows tinted? All rubbish on the media's part.

She should have looked guilty and serious. Just like what Christopher Lee did. I wonder if she had learnt any lesson at all.

Even when our local media didn't keep on reporting Christopher Lee's jail release, the interviews and such they conducted - just a couple of them - got me disgusted already. And it's like, she has been out for so many days and the hoo-haa is still there?!?!

Ok, I'm deviating further away from what I wanted to say. If she had served her term dutifully, as told, she would only have gotten 23 days! And she would have portrayed a good image to the public. And now all that has happened - just makes more people irritated with her. There seriously is no need for all these, agree?

I don't know how smart she is (some say so) and till now I haven't thought of a way to prove it. Like, unless she takes some exams and show us her results? Or her IQ or EQ or AQ score? Then I would be convinced.

And if she is really that smart, her parents should train her to be a true successor of the Hilton hotel chain... Instead of letting her do whatever she wants and get drowned in all the negative comments. And spend money away like wasting water. She could well be like Princess Diana - getting involved in a lot of charitable activities.

Why choose this kind of act-stupid way to fame, when you can choose a See-I-Am-Truly-Smart way to get attention?

That's why I hate illogical people. Sigh.
