Oh Yes!
Yes! I went to the PC Show on Sunday and I got myself a new laptop at a price $400 dollars cheaper than what Courts sells it at.
It's not exactly like the latest model, but at least I'm quite pleased with it. Not too bad, though. I even saved an extra 50 bucks when Acer offered to upgrade its RAM from 1 GB to 2 GB. This is very important because I read somewhere on the Internet that when your laptop operates with Microsoft Vista Home Premium, it is recommended to have 2 GB of RAM. Hmm. But of course if I could (provided that I am damn rich like Mary), I would even upgrade it to 4 GB of RAM. At least it's the highest it can go. LOL.
Actually the PC show is damn crowded. I was cursing and swearing for my parents were disagreeing on what to buy. I was looking at so many brochures and had my eyes on some laptops that had really attractive features such as fingerprint recognition, but I didn't really need it. Of course, it would be damn cool to have the latest laptops, but my Acer is just as good as I want it to be now. Haha.
As I was saying, I accidentally went past a booth... My mum told me to look at another Acer model which I really didn't wish I have to settle for. It was $100 cheaper than this laptop of mine. I really wanted to leave; Just then, my eyes suddenly fell on the poster advertising this model which I wanted badly. It was the model I saw at Courts but my parents found it a little too expensive. The offer price was so attractive that my mum actually bought it without second thoughts. LOL.
So I've got my laptop and man, I'm hooked onto it. Haha. The next thing I'm aiming for - additional hard drives with at least 100 GB of space. LOL. And an optical mouse too. =P
