But do remember to say thanks!
Nothing (aka, no links) here is finalised yet! I'm still trying them out.
Here is the place where I'll store my dramas. Till the time I buy my external hard disk. First drama up, is "The Winter Melon Story", a Hong Kong drama.
Links for each episode are provided, and currently they are being uploaded to Megaupload. For instructions on how to download from Megaupload, refer to
"faq".
Anything you want to display here. Banners, buttons...? Etc.
I've started writing, so why don't you start reading?

New Handphone
I had a discount voucher from m1. It was gonna expire on 30th June 2007, so my dad was urging me to use it. LOL.
I spent a few days looking at the offers from m1. None was good! I wanted Sony Ericsson P990i... It had a stylus. How I wished I had a mobile with a stylus just like Mr Tan. Well, his had one. The way he used it was so cool. But I thought SE P990i was too expensive for my mum to pay for, so I was looking at SE W850i. Of course I went surfing on the internet for more information. I wanted to make an informed decision. Lol. I went to cnet.com (I don't know why but I trust it a lot) and the editors say that it's not bad, just that the navigation keys were bad. I didn't mind it, of course, since it's a music phone. And I just like how it looks. But then again, it was too pricey to consider.
I then looked for something cheaper. LG Chocolate. The ratings were not bad, but I saw people complaining about the sound. It didn't appeal a lot to me (I don't like black that much) and I remember myself telling Jasmine before that LG Chocolate was average. Oh well. Gone.
What's up next on the list ? Nokia. Hmm. ExpressMusic 5700 was a tad too expensive. So I looked at 5300 instead. It was really given high ratings. But I wanted a flash. It didn't have one. And Esther advised me against it. 'Cos it's not nice. LOL. Well, it was really cheap. $88. Can you imagine??
Next, I looked at another Nokia model. 6288 I think. 'Cos I didn't really like the combination of white and red. Reviews said that the slider was a little loose. That was what made me decide against it immediately. And a white cover should have white keypads. Why mix it with black? Sigh. I went back to look at Sony Ericsson. I didn't intend on getting LG nor Motorola (it lags a little, especially my ROKR E1). I wanted a NOKIA!!! But well, sometimes circumstances force you to do otherwise. So I looked at K550i. White!!! I was going a little gaga over it. And Grace said I should get it. 'Cos I don't use 3G and it's cheap. Oh well . I would have gotten it (going at $138) if not for the fact that the keypad didn't look comfortable to my fingers. Someone said not to get this phone if one uses it frequently for games or SMS. Sigh. But I was still longing for it. LOL.
A cheaper alternative was Sony Ericsson Z610i. It looked really pretty (especially Pink and Blue) and it had the basic functions I needed. Cheap too. $68. Unfortunately, I preferred a candy bar form rather than a flip form. And the shiny side could get scratches easily too. And NO FLASH!!! Sigh.
A nicer alternative then. Dopod 818 Pro. A pity that it didn't have Chinese Characters. It has a stylus (like so WOW) and it was cheap ($168). It looked attractive too. I would have gotten it if it had Chinese.
Of course, when you start reading reviews, you get carried away and you start looking around... My mum saw some phones which she liked (of course, would never buy and which I would never be able to touch). Some example below: (Both are Dopod. Nice and expensive. I would like an O2 if I were rich.)
Then I saw a particular phone... Really cool. Something like an iPhone from Apple. Has no keypad at all and looks damn stylish. LG Prada. The first product from both companies I think. Even the packaging looks high-class. But one thing bad is that it attracts fingerprints easily. And everything is controlled from a touchscreen. Isn't it cool??In the end, my dad got impatient and decided for me. I wanted either Sony Ericsson K550i or K800i. But K800i was really expensive and M1 didn't have the white edition. Argh!!! So my dad decided on K800i and Esther supported it too. The advertised price was $238. But after a $80 discount and $25 from redemption of SunPerks Points, I pay only $103. Esther says it's a good bargain. But my heart aches...
$103 is a lot you know. But anyway, the order has been made and it's arriving this morning. Just a few more hours to go!
