Download all you want!
But do remember to say thanks!
Nothing (aka, no links) here is finalised yet! I'm still trying them out.
Here is the place where I'll store my dramas. Till the time I buy my external hard disk. First drama up, is "The Winter Melon Story", a Hong Kong drama.
Links for each episode are provided, and currently they are being uploaded to Megaupload. For instructions on how to download from Megaupload, refer to
"faq".
Anything you want to display here. Banners, buttons...? Etc.
I've started writing, so why don't you start reading?

I'm Clear-Headed
I just needed one minute more to figure things out. Just don't rush me and I will show you results. Even the chief cashier made a mistake. But how was I to tell her when she had already gone home when I knocked off from work?
Ok, I shall tell you the story. You better read properly or else you will be confused. So I will use simple English sentences.
Customer A came with her groceries and wanted to pay for them. Halfway through the scanning process, she wanted to take a packet of rice. So I held on to her transaction. It was around $14.40.
Customer B then came. She purchased more than $25 and was eligible for our Purchase With Purchase policy whereby she can purchase some items at a special price. Just then, customer C came with a packet of rice, which was one of the PWP items. I thought she was A because I couldn't remember how A looked like.
I told C, you have to purchase $25 and above to buy that rice at the special price of $13.50. Otherwise, it will cost you $14.50.
C was like, how about I add this rice to B's bill? I will pay her. B was agreeable too.
Then, I scanned the rice into B's bill and B paid the whole sum.
Because I had thought C was A, so I recalled A's transaction and made C pay for A's bill. That was when the confusion started.
C was like, these few packs of stuff are not mine. And why did you make us pay twice for that one pack of rice?
That was when I panicked. They didn't give me time to think. I couldn't think properly. That was when I realised that I recalled a transaction for the wrong customer. B wanted me to pay her $13.50 back (for the pack of rice) and C kept pressurising me. I don't know why either.
I didn't know what to do, so I belled for my chief cashier, Sandy.
I wanted to explain everything to her but she apparently didn't want to listen. They kept telling Sandy their side of the story and didn't give me time for my side of the story.
So Sandy decided to void the transaction I recalled and made me pay $13.50 to B. I thought that I should return C money because her rice was $13.50, not $14.40. But Sandy said no need. After they left, she explained to me twice but I still didn't get it because it was flawed.
Well, as a new temporary employee, what else can you do except follow your supervisor's instructions?
After some time, A came back. She didn't get anything at all and so I had to re-scan everything she wanted.
I figured that I would have an excess of 90 cents if Sandy was wrong. And at the end of the day, I really had an excess of 90 cents. I wanted to explain to Sandy to prove to her that I was correct but she had already gone home. No point explaining to my other chief cashier, Esther because she wouldn't care.
I was so pissed. Another day in which I wasn't balanced again. ARGH.
