You Reap What You Sow
I went for NTUC Fairprice interview today.
I has a queue number of 53.
There were more than 100 people.
It started at 9 am.
However, I waited from 10.47 am till 2 plus pm before it was my turn.
I tell you what, the wait is worth it, because I was immediately hired as a cashier on the spot.
My pay is around 5 bucks an hour.
I work for 5 hours a day.
I work for 6 days a week.
I won't earn much.
I have to work on rotating shifts. Those available are morning, afternoon or evening.
Which means my working hours are flexible.
I don't really like it.
Because I can't give tuition as I had initially planned.
Unless.... Heh heh heh. I request for morning or afternoon shifts to be assigned to me only.
Or..... I don't know if it will work, but I have a plan. Something that is easy to understand, but I don't know how the response will be. Before that I must look at my assigned schedule this coming Thursday. Only then can I decide if my plan will work.
Haiz. Man has desires beyond reach. Once they get something, they want more. They expect better treatment. Like me.
It's just so damn unfair that people get more than a thousand a month when i get only half the amount they get.
Although I work 5 hours, which means I can save on food and can have the rest of the day off, but please la. MY SALARY IS DAMN LOW if you calculate it yourself.
