New Internet Connection
I just upgraded my broadband plan. LOL. So from the original speed of 512 kbps, it's now 1500 kbps. Hmm. Not exactly high (There are speeds as high as 25000 kbps on the market), but at least it's going to be much faster (hopefully, or else I will complain to Singnet) and it's something I have always wanted to get.
Erm, higher speed I mean.
1500 kbps was available years ago (Even during the time I had my first broadband service like 2 years ago) but I couldn't get it because it's going to be a heavy burden on my Dad. Hmm. So I was just as happy to get 512 kbps. Now that Singapore wants to become an IT hub, broadband services are going to be much cheaper. So this 1500 kbps came a few dollars cheaper than my 512 kbps. Haha. It does sound like a good deal, but I will never know how much cheaper it's going to be in the future...
What I want to say is that since my new modem is here, I'll have to get it set up and running. That means I'll be offline for some time (because it's always like this whenever I do something to my computer) before the new modem is willing to cooperate with me. I do hope I can get it set up by today... Or else Grace Chua is going to kill me. LOL.
As the saying goes, one has to suffer before tasting the sweet rewards.
