KGSP
KGSP stands for Korean Government Scholarship Program.
I just checked my NUS Mail, and when I saw the title, "Dongguk University-Full Scholarship", I literally went berserk! It became the first mail I read.
So there's this program for international students to study there like, almost totally free! Masters or Doctoral program! They give you free one year Korean language studies and air tickets (round trip) and monthly allowance! OMG! This is almost like whatever I can wish for.
Actually, the thing that caught my eye was Dongguk University itself. I would go crazy too if the program was offered at Seoul National University or Korea University. Anyway, Dongguk University is where Seung Gi had his undergraduate studies and where he's taking his current Masters too! OMG! Imagine studying at the same university as him! I can lurk around the school and get his autograph (LOL)! Erm, I mean, don't you think it's cool to be able to study in the same university campus as your idol, and your favourite country with almost everything paid for?
I got so excited, I went on Facebook and updated my status to "I hope, hope, hope the KGSP for Dongguk University will have Pharmacy as one of their programs in 2011!".
But then, I realised one thing. Their graduate schools have nothing related to Medicine or Pharmacy. My heart sank deeper than Titanic did.
So to save my face, I changed my status to "I hope, hope, hope KGSP will have Pharmacy as one of their programs in 2011!".
I do wish there will be another KGSP when I graduate next year, and of course, I would love Dongguk University, but any Korean university will do, as long as there's Pharmacy!
I love Korea, I love Seung Gi! =P
