Then I went online, and Kenneth wished me happy birthday through MSN. I thanked him, and thought of how horrible I was when I didn't wish him on his birthday instead. =S

Just as I was thinking, how come some other important people in my life haven't wished me yet... It turned out that Shi Ning sent me a testimonial through Friendster as my birthday gift (thanks a lot!) and that Angeline sent me a birthday wish through Friendster as well. Hee hee. So sweet.

Then that morning, Mary was being a "big mouth". She told Mr Eng it was my birthday (although he said he would make the class sing but apparently his Maths was more important 'cos we were late for class and so he didn't do anything). She must have told Richard and Siddartha about it. Haha, so when we were dismissed, they came and wished me too. LOL. what a nice surprise. (No, I am not sarcastic.)

And how dare Grace be absent from school, huh? LOL. But she did call and wished me. That's what friends are for, man.

I remember before assembly, Mary told me she had a present for me. I was kind of surprised. Because she won't have gone shopping for one and Grace would usually be the one doing the shopping. And her bag wasn't bulky. So I wasn't expecting much.

Indeed, she took out a small plastic bag from her bag after assembly. It was a piece of ham, for crying out loud! Wahahahaha. I was like, "Erm, I know that's your breakfast!"

Mary: No... It's your birthday present! I bought it from the canteen!
Me: And you must have felt disgusted with it and didn't feel like eating it so you want to give it to me.
Mary: No... I thought the ham looked quite appetising and so I bought one for you and one for me. I finished mine.

She's so funny, man. So I took it from her doubtfully.

Grace called Mary a cheapskate for buying me a ham. LOL.

I felt like crying on my birthday, (due to various reasons) but I told myself that I should never cry because it's my birthday. If I cry, my day will be ruined. So I didn't cry. And lots of things were getting on my nerves. It was only towards the end of the day did things turn for the better.
